What is the acai berry? The acai berry is a small fruit about the size of a grape. It is touted by many to be the #1 superfood in the world because of its very high concentration of antioxidants, healthy omega fats and fibers.

The acai berry originates comes from the Amazon Rainforest in Brazil.

The company, MonaVie was founded by Dallin Larsen and has its headquarters in Salt Lake City, Utah, USA. The company was launched in January 2005 by an original multi-level marketing (MLM) company Monarch Health Sciences.

The latter was founded earlier in the year 2003 also by Dallin Larsen, and the company marketed diet and weight loss supplements. Then later in 2005, the executives of Monarch founded MonaVie LLC/MonaVie Inc.

Dallin Larsen had in the past worked as senior executive with the MLM companies Dynamic Essentials and Usana. Larsen was named Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year2009 Award National Winner in Emerging Category.

The product.

MonaVie has a team of professionals in the juice manufacturing process from beginning to end. MonaVie Juice is manufactured with a high percentage of acai berry -the reason being the much touted benefits of the acai.

The acai berry contains big amounts of antioxidants, Vitamin A, Vitamin E, and amino acids. Besides this, there are also alot of other micro nutrients.

Some other effects are a heightened metabolism rate. In addition to assisting digestion, Acai also reduces the craving for food by reducing your appetite. Because of these characteristics, the Acai Berry Fruit is considered a good weight loss supplement.
